The new single from WARREN DERWENT follows the success of his last single My Father Is My Friend that attracted strong radio airplay around Australia with its heart-tugging theme.

The new single, the cleverly titled Our Future’s Shorter Than Our Past, was co-written by Warren and renowned songwriter Heather Field. It lifts the tempo for Warren on a song that really kicks along for the 1992 Star Maker winner who is currently enjoying a real radio resurgence.

Kicking along perfectly with Warren is noted producer Stuie French, who apart from doing a superb job on the mixing desk, has added his extraordinary guitar work to the track, along with some amazing picking from Michel Rose on pedal steel and Mick Albeck on fiddle. It’s hard to know who’s enjoying themselves the most on his track – so just join in the fun on a song that sits perfectly for country radio.
