Hot on the heels of their January 2006 album and extensive national touring, Can’t Work No Longer is the first single from THE FLOOD’s fourth studio album, the aptly titled Everybody’s Favourite, which will be available in early 2008.

The single Can’t Work No Longer is The Flood’s reworking of a traditional song, which typifies the elusive timeless appeal embodied in all of The Flood’s eclectic musical palette and legendary live shows. It’s simply a whole lot of fun, in the tradition of fellow roots/country artists like DAVID LINDLEY.

The Flood’s previous album The Late Late Show featured hits like Hello Blue Sky’ (#1 on Country Tracks and CMC charts) and 2003 (2007 APRA Song of The Year finalist), and earned them the 2006 Golden Guitar for Best Group Or Duo.
