One of Australia’s premier balladeers and songwriters, PETER COAD is a fulltime entertainer and touring artist with a musical career spanning 30 years and a series of popular albums. Peter’s outstanding songwriting shows a real understanding of this country and its characters from a man who has lived the rural life, and the ability to share his insights in song.
Following the success of his recent single A Good Season, Peter is back with It’s A Poor Sort Of Man Who Won’t Help His Neighbour, the latest single taken from his award winning 2007 album release, Outback Chapters.
The storyline is based on an article Peter read in the mid 70’s about Henry Ford. Peter wrote a song about it and first recorded the song in 1979, but the ongoing popularity of the track sees Peter re-record it for Outback Chapters.
