ANTHONY SNAPE’s rendition of So This Is Life is the first track to come from the wholly BRENDA-LEE HEATHCOTE penned album Light of Hope. Anthony is revelling in the success of his album Disappearing Day which has brought to Australia’s attention the extraordinary talents of this young man.

So This Is Life won Brenda-Lee the prestigious Rudy Brandsma Award at the 2007 Australian Songwriter’s Awards. The song is dedicated to her brother, radio personality Brian James Heathcote, who was murdered in January 2007.

The album, Light of Hope, is at this point still under construction. When completed, it will be a collection of heartfelt songs of understanding, performed by 14 independent artists. A percentage of the moneys raised from the album will go to the Queensland Homicide Victims Support Group.
