Australian country music has a proud tradition of wonderful songs paying tribute to our troops in various conflicts, and here's another strong offering to add to that list.
Vungtau Ferry is yet another work from singer/songwriter PEARSE COLEMAN. This song is a quality product written by Pearse in collaboration with Mildura lyricist Bill Crosbie, and relates a very personal story, telling of Pearse's exposure to the Vietnam War at the age of 17 years. "It took a while to find the right title, the ingredients were there and once we had it Bill and I knew we had another great song," said Pearse.
Pearse recorded the song at Pegasus Studios in Cairns where his last three CDs were laid down and expertly engineered and co produced by Nigel Pegrum.
