If he didn't know better, DAN MURPHY would swear Where There's A Road was written with a chapter from his life in mind. The young man arguing with his father and leaving the family farm runs a hauntingly parallel line to Dan's own experience which led him from Australia to the USA. He mainly drove trucks during this time, so he totally relates to the storyline of the guy in the song "wired to the wheel".
When Dan first heard it sung by ROBBIE FULKS it was "spooky" and if you substituted Cobar for Georgia, it would be a perfect fit.
This is just a taste of what's to come from the brand new album Country Boy from this fine young singer from outback NSW, who now lives in Gunnedah - not far from the Country Music Capital.
